George Dorn Screams - The Large Glass EP (2009)

Rudi Arapahoe - Echoes From One to Another (2008)

The record embraces melodic composition and underscores it with spirituality, darkness and wonder. The strong European feel is voiced through harp, soprano, piano, violin, guitar, vintage synthesizers, field recordings and an array of antique electronics; given life by gifted collaborators under my ghostly direction.

''The five-track EP is slated to make its online debut November 23, nearly a month before its December 15th physical release. The boys put the record together early last year in both Mississippi and Brooklyn, with help from Ben Allen. And one of the new tracks, “What Would I Want? Sky,” features the first-ever legal Grateful Dead sample! Sounds intriguing (and possibly trippy?) to me.''

Have A Nice Life - Deathconsciousness (2008) *****

Całą resztę zapraszam do kupna Video i Ani Wyszkoni. A właśnie! Kto to jest Ania Wyszkoni?''

The Mars Volta - Octahedron (2009) *****

Octahedron is the stunning new album from The Mars Volta. An album heady with the emotion and high-drama that has always been the band's trademark, their newfound simplicity and focus has delivered some of the most immediate and powerful songs in their discography. The album opens with the tender ache of "Since We've Been Wrong", Cedric's keening vocal establishing a mood that's deeply blue, powerfully melancholic, a suckerpunch that hits every bit as hard as Octahedron's unashamed rockers (the gleaming futuristic funk of "Teflon", the tense chase-music of "Cotopaxi"). Pulling back from the full-tilt experimentation of previous releases, the album invests its energies in Omar's gift for songcraft, for swooning guitar runs of high tension and emotive power ("Luciforms"' epic riffage), and for the nagging hooks and melodies that wreath the churning rhythms of "Desperate Graves"

Maudlin of the Well – Part The Second (2009)

Experimental, orchestral, ambient, progressive rock and metal music. It is like and avant jazz something. It is quite strange and interesting at the same time. A great album from a great band. The tracks are actually new releases, but some parts of them are ideas and inspirations from the older records, that never been in them. These are not b sides; these are great tracks, and new recordings at all. Dark atmosphere, theatrical view, cinematic orchestra style, experimentalisms, and great compositions.

Gifts From Enola - From Fanthoms (2009)

Gifts From Enola is a band from Virginia that juxtapose elements of post-rock with a large hard-rock mindset and then allow an experimental bent to soften the edges. Structurally, some songs explode out of the gates with blistering intensity and then recede slowly back into the sonic landscape with a timid disposition. Other times the band waits for the dynamic breakdown and sets the scene up with calm waves of ambience and scant field recordings.
