Les Fragments De La Nuit - Musique Du Crépuscule (2008)

"Musique du Crépuscule" is a vision of night wrapped in mystery: a night haunted by spectral chants, under the spell of epic, poignant strings and sustained by hypnotic piano pulsations. Its nocturnal universe oozes with hybrid ink, enveloping hidden emotions tainted with melancholy and voluptuousness. A neo-classical or post-nocturnal piece, "Musique du Crépuscule" has many different faces. It alternates between violin riffs, dark cello projections and the complaints of a lone piano, highlighted by enigmatic echoing voices.

Distrails - Virginia Creeper (2008) *****

A unique fusion of piano, lush orchestration, layered sounds, and the phenomenal range of Jared Draughon’s melodic, haunting vocals. Jared Draughon’s mellow, beautiful voice is complemented well by Bitsy Pina’s hypnotic and complex piano themes.

Distrails is a musical duo formed in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

The duo is composed of vocalist/guitarist/percussionist Jared Draughon,
and classical pianist/composer/keyboardist Bitsy Pina.

Distrails to muzyczny duet założony w Północnej Karolinie w listopadzie 2007 roku. W skład zespołu wchodzą Bitsy Pina (klawisze i komponowanie) oraz Jared Draughon (wokal, gitara, perkusja) który udzielał się w takich zespołach jak Classic Case i Telescreen. Końcem 2008 roku ukazał się debiutancki krążek zespołu zatytułowany ‘Virginia Creeper’.
Skomponowany, nagrany i wyprodukowany na własną rekę ośmio-utworowy album łączy charakterystykę Indie- i Piano-Rocka z dobrym wokalem i elementami trip-hopu, tworząc naprawdę ciekawe, impresywne brzmienie.
