Have A Nice Life - Voids [2009]

Compiled here are two separate EPs, the first being Have A Nice Life's extremely rare second demo, Powers Of Ten, and the second being What Happened Next Was Worse, a collection of tracks written around the same time as Deathconsciousness that didn't make it onto the main album. Together these two EPs make up Voids, a sort of footnote detailing a little more of what was going on during the five year period leading up to 2008's Deathconsciousness.

''Muzyka taka nie spodoba się raczej słuchaczom tandety, do których przyzwyczajają nas nasze kochane polskie media. Za skomplikowana na Feel, za brzydka na Dodę, za mało "pokoleniowa" na Kombii. Więc cóż to właściwie jest? Jest to coś w rodzaju post-rockowego Shoegaze'u, łączącego w sobie eksperymentalne dźwięki. Na dodatek tworzone przez 2 panów w domowym zaciszu(!) Jakby tego było mało, jest to ich debiut. Coś niewiarygodnego, coś mistycznego, brudnego, złego, tajemniczego a jednocześnie bardzo znajomego. Trzeci studyjny album warszawskiej formacji dowodzonej przez Mirka Gila. Zbiór jedenastu utworów, jak pisze zespół: "Dla ludzi lubiących słuchać i szukać sensu w dźwiękach". Teksty na płytę napisał Robert Sieradzki, autor słów dwóch poprzednich albumów i oddany przyjaciel zespołu. Muzyka zaś jest wypadkową przeżyć i gustów członków Believe.

Na albumie grupę wsparli Paulina Druch (wiolonczela) i Bartek Zbroszczyk (gitara). Miksu płyty dokonał Włodek Kowalczyk, polski producent odpowiedzialny za realizację muzyczną takich legend, jak Klaus Mitffoch, Róże Europy, Daab, Oddział Zamknięty, Dezerter czy Lady Pank. Zespół w celu uzyskania jeszcze lepszego brzmienia nawiązał współpracę ze świetnym brytyjskim inżynierem dźwięku, Andym Jacksonem, odpowiedzialnym za realizacje płyt Pink Floyd i Davida Gilmoura.
